instastart has a double meaning. It works as a registration and as a guarantee. The registration is one-time and fixed, and amounts to 270 € + VAT. The guarantee is essentially a monthly subscription and the exact amount comes from the car you choose (and is of course equal to your monthly rent). Did you keep your car for 18 months? Your guarantee is returned as a plus one (19^th) month! Have you decided to change your car? The guarantee is adjusted depending on whether your new monthly rent is higher or lower. Do you want an example? Suppose you choose a Citroen C3. Your instastart will be € 270 for the registration and € 285 for the guarantee (as well as your monthly fee of course).
